Tried this place on a whim Our server was excellent , food was good but they forgot the burger toppings on mine and forgot cheese on my friends patty melt . Onion rings were amazing! Decor very outdated . I’d go back to try breakfast maybe

I like to keep my reviews true to the purpose of what I got there for. So for me to go looking for a amazing, home style type breakfast, this place gets 5 stars. The food was wonderful. Came out hot. Had the deep southern 'everything is better with butter' flavor. Our waitress was not as personable as I would have expected but she was efficient at her job. The atmosphere and decor was very much lacking and all over the place. Nothing really matching and made you take a look around while wondering if there is anything good that is gonna come out of the kitchen. Definitely needs updating. But the food. Man, the food was so delicious. That's all I could ask for.

Food was great. Don’t be deceived by the exterior. Everyone was super friendly service was great. I had the catfish which was very good. My husband had the chicken fried steak with fried squash and okra and our friend had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and okra. We came with our church senior group about 35-40 people. The music was kind of loud we asked for them to turn it down and they were very fast to honor our request.

Anytime I am in Jacksonville, I always make a stop at Emily's Diner. It's pretty much tradition now. It's a classic diner. It's not fancy, but it will still deliver delicious food. I usually get a breakfast plate of 2 sunny side up eggs, hashbrowns, toast and bacon, but this time I decided to switch things up and just get a simple BLT and hashbrowns. It was just as yummy as my usual. Emily's Diner will give you exactly what you expect- home cooking away from home.

Cute, small restaurant that my family recommended. Prices were good, but wish the portions were just a little bigger. I enjoyed a country breakfast smothered in gravy. Delicious! Went on a Thursday morning, so it wasn't busy at all. Would definitely go back again if I lived here.

Went to this restaurant for this first time today. We were met with very warm welcomes and a very friendly staff. Forgot our waitress name but she was super sweet and helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed. The food was made quickly, but perfect. Came out looking beautiful and tasted delicious. We will definitely be back.
